You have arrived at Travel Tuesdays, where you get info on places all around the globe. Some are random places, and some are our own family vacations that we share.


This is Mr. Rainbow and I will love Travel Tuesday because later in life I want to travel around the world. This whole month I will be doing Travel Tuesday and every month we change days so next month I will be doing Whatever Wednesday.


This week I am going to talk about Mt.Rushmore. Mount Rushmore National Memorial, located 25 miles southwest of Rapid City, is an awe-inspiring experience and a “must-see” on your vacation. The faces of four American presidents—George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln—are carved from a granite mountainside high above the treetops of the Black Hills. Carving took 14 years to complete and cost $1 million, but this Shrine of Democracy is priceless to all Americans.
