Throwback Thursday with Quidditch_Turtle 7/17/14

Hey everyone, Quidditch_Turtle here! As you know, we're arriving at the final few games in the 2014 FIFA World Cup. So this week, I want to give you every World Cup, from the first to the last, and some stats from every championship game. Oh yeah, and I got all of my information from www.football-bible.com.

1. Uruguay (host country) 1930 (year of cup)
Uruguay vs. Argentina (final competetors), final score: 4-2, Uruguay (winner)

2. Italy 1934
Italy vs. Czechoslovakia, final score: 2-1, Italy (extra time)

3. France 1938

19. Brazil 2014
Germany vs. TBD, final score: TBD, winner TBD
By the way, TBD means "To Be Determined" if you didn't already know that.

I found some pictures of the official logos and posters of every World Cup. On the logo picture, some of the earlier world cups have the posters instead of logos. I guess they just didn't make logos at the time.

If you would like to zoom in on the posters (or logos for that matter), just press and hold the control (Ctrl) button on your keyboard, and hit the "+" key a few times until you get it the size you want. To return to normal size, do the same thing, except when you would hit the "+" key, hit the "-" key. This works for any browser or website on your computer by the way :)

See you guys next week! ~Quidditch_Turtle
